Design Guidelines
For the Perfect Etch
File Formats
Submit your designs in high-resolution vector formats like SVG or AI. We also accept high-contrast PNG and JPG files above 300 DPI for detailed engraving results.
Monochrome Only
Laser engraving works best with clear, black and white graphics. Avoid gradients or soft shadows; flat, solid fills ensure the sharpest tactile edge on metals and wood.
Scale & Clarity
Ensure all text elements are at least 8pt size. Extremely fine lines may not translate well to all surfaces; we recommend clear spacing between design elements.

Knowledge Base
What file formats do you accept for custom engravings?
We recommend uploading high-resolution vector files (AI, EPS, or SVG) or crisp, high-contrast images (PNG or JPG) for the best results.
Can you engrave copyrighted logos or artwork?
We can only engrave designs that you own the rights to. We do not engrave trademarked likenesses or brand logos without explicit authorization.
What is the maximum size for a custom engraving?
Our systems accommodate designs up to 14x31 inches on flat surfaces and specialty wraps around standard 20 oz stainless steel tumblers.
How do I know if my image resolution is high enough?
Our artisan team reviews every preview. If the resolution is too low for a crisp etch, we will contact you for a replacement before production.
